We’re seeing hearts over here at the Anaheim Iron Press and once you see this line-up and the event details for our “My Boozy Valentine” tap takeover and extravaganza, we’re pretty sure that you’ll be seeing them too!  It’s all going down at The Iron Press Anaheim in the Packing House on February 10th, 2017 A.D. from 5 P.M. to 10 P.M.  We’re going it big (All barrel-aged everything!), so you may want to have a designated driver, grab a Lyft or beg your Mom to drop you off! Hot Totty- Good Beer Co.

Farmhouse Ale, 5% ABV

Aged in American oak bourbon barrels (previously used to age Bottle Logic’s coveted “Dark Star”) with lemon zest and ginger. This dry and complex ale is inspired by a popular cold remedy that includes hot ginger tea, bourbon, and a squeeze and lemon - sometimes referred to as a Hot Toddy.

 

Cellar 3:  Nouveau Tart- Green Flash

Wild Ale, 6.9% ABV

A sour red ale aged in bourbon barrels.  Heady top notes of tart cherry and dark fruit mingle with rich, subtle malt in the background for a perfect blend.

 

Byzantine Vision- Bottle Logic

Porter, 10.7% ABV

This release is rooted in the bourbon barrel aged version of our World Beer Cup 2016 Silver Medal winning ‘Cobaltic Porter.’ Racked over hazelnuts, pistachios, and walnuts, then finished with wild honey,  for a delicious baklava-inspired beer.

 

Darkstar November- Bottle Logic

Imperial Stout, 13.7% ABV

Snippets of sweet molasses, spicy rye, velvety vanilla and bourbon-soaked chocolate oak make up this complex beast of a stout!

 

 Collaboration 6- Boulevard

 Strong Ale, 12.5% ABV

This special beer is a blend of:  Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad - 45%, Firestone Walker Stickee Monkee - 35%, Boulevard Imperial Stout X - Tart Cherry (whiskey barrel-aged) - 10% and Firestone Walker Velvet Merkin - 10%.  It’s complex, roasty and fruity.

 

7th Anniversary- Black Market

Imperial Stout, 12.3% ABV

This bourbon barrel blend is a rich and decadent melange of 2 of Black Market’s finest barrel aged beers. You’ll taste Madagascar vanilla beans with complex layers of dark roasty perfection.

 

Deliverance- Lost Abbey

Strong Ale, 12.5% ABV

A blend of bourbon barrel-aged Serpent’s Stout and brandy barrel-aged Angels Share.  This beer is not for the faint with it’s figgy notes, sweet edge and cocoa aroma.

 

B.B.A Devil’s Teeth w/orange zest, cacao & hazelnut variant- Modern Times

Old Ale, 11% ABV

This variant was aged in bourbon barrels and spiced with orange zest, hazelnut, and chocolate, yielding a deftly-woven tapestry of flavors and aromas that light up your olfactory pleasure centers before wrapping your palate in its bewitchingly delicious embrace

 

Abyss- Deschutes

Russian Imperial Stout 11.1% ABV

This beer has almost immeasurable depth and complexity. Hints of molasses, licorice and other alluring flavors make it something not just to quaff, but contemplate.

 

2015 Bourbon County- Goose Island

Imperial Stout, 13.8% ABV

The aroma is a mix of charred oak, vanilla and caramel. This dark, malty and rich beer tastes of chocolate, espresso coffee, vanilla, molasses & a hint of cinnamon.

 

Lizard of Koz- Founders

Imperial Stout, 10.5% ABV

The base beer is an imperial stout, brewed with blueberries, chocolate and vanilla. The finishing touch is the bourbon barrel aging.  Dark, fruity and a hint of sweetness.

 

Pugachev’s Cobra- Hangar 24

Russian Imperial Stout, 13.5% ABV

Bursting with aromas of chocolate, vanilla, oak, bourbon, licorice and dark fruits, while flavors of chocolate-covered plum, sweet malt, bourbon, and roasted coffee explode on your palate.

 

Boon Kriek Cherry- Brouwerij Boon

Lambic, 5% ABV

Pounds upon pounds of fresh cherries and multiple fermentations, give this lambic it’s signature dry, fruity, tart and delicious flavor.

 

Agrestic- Firestone Walker

Wild Ale, 6.6% ABV

Oak barrel-aged for 28 months.  With toasted oak, lemon pith, and rosewood on the nose and palate, followed by an amazing harmony of vanilla, coconut, Earl Grey tea, dark cherries and spice. The finish is crisp, with a mouthwatering acidity and chewy tannins.
