Mike Hess Brewing Lineup and Menu

MikeHessAnaheim Alright peeps, the day has arrived quickly but we are more than ready to have a great time with all of you. Today is a special day for our Anaheim location in The Packing District because we were lucky enough to get Hess Brewing to bring us some of their super tasty brews all the way from San Diego. You may have never heard of Hess Brewing and that’s ok, because after tonight you will never forget the name. With beers on tap ranging from there 5.8% Claritas Kolsh to there 10.2% Umbrix Rye Imperial Stout, you can experience quite the range of brews. You may tear up because your glasses will empty so quickly, but not to worry, we will be there to fill it up again and again. (P.s... Food Items may be different than listed in menu above)

 

Claritas - Kolsh Style Beer - 5.8% ABV / 28 IBU

Light, Crisp, refreshing. Very sessionable.

 

Oktoberhess - Marzen Beer - 5.9% ABV / 29 IBU

A Delicious Pale Lager with a crisp, refreshing taste in the style of an oktoberfest beer.

 

Jucundus - Orange Honey Wheat - 6.0% / 34 IBU

Orange blossom honey and real orange peel make this wheat beer a summer favorite.

 

Grazias - Vienna Cream Ale - 6.3% ABV / 30 IBU

A true crowd pleaser that drinks lighter than its appearance.

 

Coffee Grazias - Vienna Cream Ale W/ Coffee - 6.3% ABV / 30 IBU

An epic collaboration with Portola Coffee Labs cold pressed coffee.

 

Solis BATCH 54 - IPA - 7.5% ABV / 106 IBU

A return to a classic, dry West Coast IPA style, featuring massive late additions of flavorful and aromatic hops.

 

Solis BATCH 55 - IPA - 7.5% ABV / 106 IBU

A return to a classic, dry West Coast IPA style, featuring massive late additions of flavorful and aromatic hops.

 

Habitus - Rye IPA - 8.0% / 86 IBU

2014 Gold Award Winner in the Rye Beer Category, this is one you will not want to miss.

 

Ficus - Belgian Dark Ale W/ Figs - 8.3% / 36 IBU

A dark fruit Belgian with delightful esters and a tasty fig finish.

 

City Park - Strong Ale - 8.5% ABV / 69 IBU

A full bodied ale with plenty of hops and roasted malt giving it a rich, dark color.

 

Umbrix - Rye Imperial Stout - 10.2% ABV / 75 IBU

A big, bold, and flavorful Imperial Stout, stands out against all other stouts.

Even Keel - Session IPA
A silky malt backbone and a bright hop flavor and aroma that come from the late kettle additions and dry hopping with 1.5 pounds per barrel. ABV: 3.8% / IBU: 40

Yellowtail Pale Ale - Pale Ale

While it’s hopped like a lager, it is fermented like an ale to create a smooth, bright taste that has just a hint of fruit and spice. ABV: 5.2% / IBU: 23

Sculpin - IPA

The use of hops creates hints of apricot, peach, mango and lemon flavors, but still packs a bit of a sting, just like a Sculpin fish. ABV: 7% / IBU: 70

Fathom - IPL

The cold-fermenting lager yeast provides a clean base that allows the citrus and pine aromas from the hops to really shine. ABV: 7% / IBU: 70

Tongue Buckler - Imperial Red Ale

This is a big brew with hops and malt in extreme abundance. ABV: 10% /IBU: 108

Victory At Sea - Imperial Porter with Coffee and Vanilla

The subtle roasted notes and minimal acidity of the cold brewed coffee, balances perfectly with the sweet caramel undertones of the malt, creating a winning combination for your palate. ABV: 10% / IBU: 60

StoneMenuAnaheimSo yeah…you guys better start stretching out those stomachs of yours to go along with your livers.  Chefs Andrew and Mina are going to rock your taste buds with some crazy flavor explosion dishes tonight at the Anaheim Packing House.  For all you gluttons out there, take heed:

The Heart Attack! - Our burger on a Belgian waffle topped with pastrami, waffle fries, IPA braised ‘slaw, Russian dressing + our Imperial Nacho cheese sauce - $10

Constructed Strawberry Short Cake - A shortbread cookie with toasted graham cracker crumbs, frozen strawberry mousse, topped with a vanilla bean milk sorbet + garnished with  a freeze dried strawberry - $8

The Menu for Tonight's Tuesday Tap Takeover - The Valiant Brewing Edition

Valiant Brewing x The Iron Press Aloha!

In keeping with the tropical theme of our collaboaration brew, Suavamente del Firkmenta, Chefs Andrew and Mina have mashed up some super fun and tasty Hawaiian inspired dishes to pair alongside the yummy and well-balanced line-up from Valiant for tonight!

1. Kalua Pork - Braised pork on top of an open-faced, waffle iron toasted Hawaiian roll bun with a scoop of macaroni salad - $9

2. Aloha Mochi - Mochi waffle with green tea ice cream, pineapple coulis, topped with a sesame seed tuile - $7
