Dinner Special

Bangers & Mash-

A London classic with our Iron Press waffle twist! We start out by braising mini British sausages in Karl Strauss Anaheim’s Cimmerian (a well-balanced and delicious Brown I.P.A.). We grab one of our golden Belgian waffles hot off the press and then we just let the PILING OF YUMMY commence!  We stack the Belgian with a nice thick layer of our creamy mash potatoes, those beer braised sausages and finish it all off with a nice healthy dollop of our pork country gravy!  These flavors are so good, they’ll have you reciting Shakespearean love sonnets!

Dessert Special

The Hot [Eton] Mess-

We got our hands on a proper English dessert and took it out to party!  The result… A fluffy sweet mound of scrumdiddy-umscious! It’s our golden Belgian waffle topped with macerated strawberries, a thick pillow of meringue and then for the grand finale- a nice heaping dose of fresh homemade whip cream!

So, come on down and have a pint (or three) with your favorite beertenders and party like a royal with us! You don't want to miss this epic event!

Mike Hess Brewing Lineup and Menu

MikeHessAnaheim Alright peeps, the day has arrived quickly but we are more than ready to have a great time with all of you. Today is a special day for our Anaheim location in The Packing District because we were lucky enough to get Hess Brewing to bring us some of their super tasty brews all the way from San Diego. You may have never heard of Hess Brewing and that’s ok, because after tonight you will never forget the name. With beers on tap ranging from there 5.8% Claritas Kolsh to there 10.2% Umbrix Rye Imperial Stout, you can experience quite the range of brews. You may tear up because your glasses will empty so quickly, but not to worry, we will be there to fill it up again and again. (P.s... Food Items may be different than listed in menu above)

 

Claritas - Kolsh Style Beer - 5.8% ABV / 28 IBU

Light, Crisp, refreshing. Very sessionable.

 

Oktoberhess - Marzen Beer - 5.9% ABV / 29 IBU

A Delicious Pale Lager with a crisp, refreshing taste in the style of an oktoberfest beer.

 

Jucundus - Orange Honey Wheat - 6.0% / 34 IBU

Orange blossom honey and real orange peel make this wheat beer a summer favorite.

 

Grazias - Vienna Cream Ale - 6.3% ABV / 30 IBU

A true crowd pleaser that drinks lighter than its appearance.

Sculpin - IPA

The use of hops creates hints of apricot, peach, mango and lemon flavors, but still packs a bit of a sting, just like a Sculpin fish. ABV: 7% / IBU: 70

Fathom - IPL

They will be bringing some of Dat Lupe Doe (a DIPA that was brewed with the love of one of our own from The Iron Press, J-Sal ) and they will also bring a special treat (it might or might not be a cask made out of a real pumpkin).  So grab your flip flops and come visit the Iron Press team and get schwasted!!

Punktoberfest – A seasonal blend of BCB’s Oktoberfest lager and their Pumpkin Spiced American Amber that go together like orange and black. 18 IBU

Blackberry Wheat Ale – Blackberries join an American wheat ale for a refreshing sipper that pairs well with sweeter menu items. 4.5% | 16 IBU

SunuvaBeach Brown – English style brown ale, nutty and medium bodied. 4.8% | 14 IBU

Oktoberfest – Export style Oktoberfest, amber in color with a touch of toast leading the complex malt profile made in traditional style with only German malts.  4.8% | 32 IBU

Sweet Crude Stout – Oatmeal Stout with balanced roast coffee notes and cocoa backed with a medium body that begs to be revisited. 5.6% | 36 IBU

Pumpkin Ale – An American Amber Ale spiced to fit the fall season, balanced.  To be enjoyed throughout the autumn months. . 5.8% | 22 IBU

Dat Lupe Doe – Waffelus Lupulus herself, Jessica Salas, helped the Beach City Brew team create this Galaxy and Amarillo hopped Double IPA. 9.1% | 100+ IBU

Triquilo – ‘The Gnarly Monk’ Belgian style Tripel aged 2 and a half months in a Tequila barrel. Agave nose and sweetness match up with the classic Trappist profile. 9.6 % | 43 IBU

Ruski Noir – Russian Imperial Stout with huge coffee and dark chocolate notes backed up with American hop bitterness hiding behind the dark roast. 11% | 86 IBU

Let It Go, Let It Go – An exclusive keg, just for tonight at The Iron Press, booziness is howling like the swirling storm inside. 22% | 86 IBU

Tuesday Tap Takeover

Alright you Mother Lovers, prepare yourselves this coming Tuesday – October  14th, 2014 AD at our Costa Mesa location, because the peeps at San Diego’s  Mother Earth Brew Co. have supplied us with some insanely tasty brews. Show  your love for your Mother and The Iron Press Fam and stop by to enjoy a glass  of their Wet Hop Dreams IV and so many other top notch brews.  As a special surprise, attention all you mash-up lovers out there!  What you see here is our collaboration brew with Mother Earth Brew Co.'s Sin Tax - Imperial Peanut Butter Stout.  That's right, it's PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME, PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME! We made a delicious batch of our house-made strawberry jelly and hand delivered it down to the brewery during our little family jaunt down to San Diego. 
Checkout the entire lineup, pours beginning at 5pm: 
1. Honcho Hefe - This American Hefeweizen lets banana and clove phenols  dominate the nose and flavor of this beautiful sunglow yellow, aAerican-style  wheat ale. 5% abv | 13 IBU 
2. Ante Up - Quite the sessionable American Amber. A single hopped, medium  bodied, smooth drinker, guaranteed to get you through the longest gaming  sessions. 5% abv | 18 IBU 
3. Cali Creamin' - A light Vanilla Cream Ale with a malty backbone thanks to  some flaked corn and honey malt. Madagascar Vanilla Bean adds the undeniable  nose. Perfectly delicious. 5.2% abv | 21 IBU 
4. Pin Up - A beautifully balanced Pale Ale with herbal hop aromas and San  Diego-style bitterness. A simple grain bill keeps it hop forward with a malty  balance. This pin up is pushing the Pale Ale boundaries and it’s sure to have you  saying ‘aahhhhh’. 5.6% abv | 43 IBU 
5. Red Dog Rye XPA - This Rye Xtra Pale Ale utilizes a balanced blend of whole  kernel and flaked rye malt. Finishes on the tongue with a crisp bite and hoppy  flavor. Drink it down while appreciating its golden hue and extra levels of yum.  5.7% abv | 48 IBU 
6. Kismet - Mad man of an IPA that reeks of New Zealand Nelson hops. IPA  lovers, prepare yourselves, this one will leave a lingering bitterness on your  tongue that is sure to ruin any beer consumed after it. 7.2% abv | 80 IBU 
  7. Wet Hop Dreams IV - Yes, you read that right. This single hopped IPA will  leave you having dreams you’ve never even imagined before. Fresh Hopped  with 200lbs of Whole Leaf Citra. This brew is beautifully hoppy with an  irresistible aroma, and it’ll knock your socks off. Oh, and did we mention we  scored the only keg in Orange County this year?! 7.2% abv | 65 IBU 
8. Hop Jitters - Imperial Red Ale with Coffee. Beautifully balanced malt and  hops lend their way to just enough cold pressed coffee to remind you it is not  yet time to end the day. 8% abv | 57 IBU 
9. Sin Tax - This insanely delicious Imperial Peanut Butter Stout is full bodied  with robust flavors. An imperial stout both dark and rich, paired with the  creamy essence of peanut butter, twisting and tangling over your taste-buds.  Don’t miss out. 8.1% abv | 64 IBU 
10. Sin Tax PB&J Cask - We took the already outstanding Imperial Peanut  Butter Stout and infused it with our housemade strawberry jelly. Your favorite  childhood lunch brought to you by great friends! 8.1% abv | 64 IBU    11. Por Que No? - A full-bodied Imperial Brown. This golden brown brew is  made with brown sugar and honey, giving way to notes of toffee and creme  brulee. Because, why not?! 8.5% abv | 27 IBU 
12. Zingaro ~ Four Seasons Autumn - A killer Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial  Stout aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for up to a year. Then blended into a  rich, smooth finish with notes of chocolate and vanilla. This BBA Stout offers just  the right amount of warmth for those cool, autumn nights. 11.7% abv | 82 IBU 
We are anxiously awaiting it to finish so we can hog it all share in this miracle baby from The Iron Press and Mother Earth.
